Clinical Expertise

ADHD

As a self-identified ADHDer, Doug relies on his 12 years as an educator along with his past six years as a full-time executive function coach to meet his students’ specific challenges and goals.

Emotional Regulation

Goals are met through negotiating the ups and downs along our path. Doug’s executive function approach to self-regulation, often considered one of the most challenging of executive function skills to master, offers each student strategies to meet their personal day-to-day challenges

Parent Support/Coaching

Parent support coaching, be it separately or together with the child, leads to an insight and better understanding with strategies to best support each child’s path.

Treatment Philosophy

With his warm, engaging interpersonal style and commitment to nurturing the whole student, Doug builds a quick connection with his client. He meets each student where they are at, helping them to set and work towards incremental and attainable goals.

Doug understands that achievement, be it social or academic, begins with a better understanding of ourselves.
