At the heart of Red Oak is our commitment to meeting your family where you are at, providing compassionate, holistic, and integrated care that’s truly aligned with your needs. While every family’s journey is different, all experiences at Red Oak are grounded in our four key pillars—Assess, Navigate, Educate, and Empower—ensuring you feel seen, supported, and guided every step of the way.
Assess

Assessment is at the heart of the care we provide–it helps us understand what lies beneath behaviours and challenges, so we can design meaningful, individualized support.
We offer a range of psychological assessments—including ADHD, neuropsychological, psycho-educational, and gifted—so we can gain a deep understanding of your child’s unique social, emotional, and cognitive profile.
Our approach isn’t one-size-fits-all. Every practitioner integrates assessment into their work, helping identify each child’s strengths and underlying needs. This first step guides our collaborative goal-setting and support planning—so your child can truly thrive.
Navigate
We provide compassionate, expert guidance as you navigate life with ADHD. In ongoing collaboration with you and your family, we develop and maintain a clear direction and tailored plan to help your family work toward your goals.
If you’re unsure where to start, intake sessions are available both in-person and virtually. These comprehensive sessions provide a soft landing, helping you navigate your family’s needs and determine your best path forward.

Educate

ADHD behaviours are often misunderstood as laziness, a lack of regard or defiance, yet we know this is not the case! We help you and your child shift your lens to uncover the needs underlying confusing or challenging behaviours.
Through education and resources, we guide you and your child in gaining a deeper, strength-based understanding of how their brain works. Providing a holistic view of their ADHD and related diagnoses, we foster self-awareness, advocacy, confidence and self-worth.
Empower
ADHD is lifelong, and the support needed varies by person, age and stage. We work to empower kids, teens and young adults to recognize and celebrate their existing abilities and build upon their strengths to learn new skills.
We know that parenting a neurodiverse kid is challenging. We also empower you by teaching tailored parenting skills and strategies to support your child.
We offer a range of support services delivered by expert, compassionate practitioners and therapists to help you and your child build the skills to thrive socially, emotionally and academically.
