Types of group therapy
We offer different formats of group therapy so children and teens can build skills in the setting that best fits their needs.
Dyads
Dyadic therapy pairs two clients with a practitioner, matched by shared goals, developmental stage, and schedule. This format allows for customized, flexible sessions while encouraging peer connection.
Small groups
Small groups of 4–6 participants provide a supportive space to practise strategies from individual therapy. Children and teens build confidence, communication, and collaboration skills while applying what they’ve learned in real-world situations.
Group therapy for young children
Play-based groups for kindergarten-aged children, often including parents.
Group therapy for school-aged children
A supportive space to practice skills with peers in a fun, engaging environment.
Group therapy for teens
A safe place to build social and executive function skills with guidance and feedback.
