Dr. Vanessa Vogan is a school and clinical psychologist providing assessment and treatment to children and youth with diverse clinical presentations and needs, including school-related problems and co-occurring mental health difficulties. Dr. Vogan treats a broad range of presenting concerns:

Treatment Philosophy
Dr. Vogan’s practice is informed by evidence-based treatment approaches, including cognitive behaviour (CBT), dialectical behavioural and acceptance and commitment (ACT) therapy. She takes an integrative approach in order to tailor treatment to the unique presentations and needs of her clients.
In addition to individual work with children and teens, Dr. Vogan offers parent support/consultation to help parents gain a deeper understanding of their child’s emotional needs and to empower caregivers in nurturing their child’s well-being and strengthening connection. Dr. Vogan draws on emotion-focused and attachment based parents when collaborating with parents.

Dr. Vogan is a Registered School and Clinical Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She received her Doctorate degree in School and Clinical Child Psychology from the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. Dr. Vogan has trained and worked in a variety of hospital, community-based, and school settings including Mackenzie Health, Kinark Child and Family Services, SickKids Hospital, Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre and McMaster Children’s Hospital.
