Dr. Andrea Turner-Sack is a registered clinical psychologist who specializes in providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment challenges, low self-esteem, and issues with self-image. She has conducted research at the Hospital for Sick Children and London Health Sciences Centre, and co-authored peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on post-traumatic growth in adolescents and their family members, and on psychological assessment.

Clinical Expertise
Dr. Turner-Sack specializes in helping children, teens, and adults address anxious thinking and a low or depressed mood. In addition, she supports clients adjusting to life challenges and life stages.
Working collaboratively, and with a focus on both personal strengths and self-compassion, she helps individuals understand their anxious and negative thinking, and its impact on their lives. Clients are able to challenge and face their anxiety, develop more realistic and helpful thinking patterns, and tolerate challenging emotions in order to live with more freedom and ease.
Dr. Turner-Sack also helps clients process and manage life challenges and life stages, enabling them to achieve a better quality of life, and reach their goals.

Dr. Andrea Turner-Sack received her Ph.D. from the University of Windsor, completing her pre-doctoral internship at London Health Sciences Centre. She also trained at various other hospitals and facilities in Ontario, including the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Windsor Regional Children’s Centre, Children’s Rehabilitation Centre, and the Scarborough Hospital.
She has extensive experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments to better understand attention, learning, and socio-emotional challenges. She also has experience writing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), as well as consulting with teachers and parents in a school setting.
