Dr. Zohrah Haqanee works with children and adolescents (and their families) presenting with a diverse array of mental and behavioural health challenges. She received her Ph.D in School and Clinical Child Psychology from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto.

Treatment Philosophy
Dr. Haqanee’s therapeutic orientation is primarily cognitive behavioural (CBT), but she also integrates other approaches including dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, solution-focused modalities and motivational interviewing in order to tailor treatment plans to the unique needs of individuals and their families.

Dr. Haqanee has extensive training and experience working with young people and their families across various settings including outpatient, inpatient, secure treatment, and private practice settings. She also currently provides consultative services within the Peel District School Board (PDSB).
