Alexandra Thompson (Allee) is a registered occupational therapist passionate about helping children and youth develop the knowledge, confidence, and skills to thrive in everyday life. She uses evidence-based assessments and interventions to support children, youth, and their families in reaching their functional goals related to daily activities across home, school, and play.

Clinical Expertise
Alexandra works with neurodiverse children and youth, including those who have been diagnosed with ADHD, ASD, developmental disabilities, and learning disabilities. Outside of The Red Oak Centre, she works with people of all ages in concussion and neurological rehabilitation. She has also worked with youth with concurrent mental health and addiction challenges.

Alexandra takes a holistic, client- and family-centred, strengths-based approach to care. She aims to create a fun, interactive environment where children, youth, and their families feel safe, seen, and engaged. She provides strategies and recommendations that are evidence-based, individualized, and practical.
