Sara Shear is a registered occupational therapist who works with children and their families in areas such as fine and gross motor development, sensory processing and self-regulation. She has experience working with children with a variety of diagnoses including ADHD, acquired brain injuries, Autism, developmental delays, and sensory processing challenges.

Sara uses a strength-based, family-centred and evidence-based approach to enable children to reach their goals and actively engage in their daily activities. She aims to create a fun and engaging environment for children to develop the skills they need to thrive at home, school and in their community.

Sara continues to build her knowledge and expertise through ongoing professional development and education, including courses in sensory processing, vestibular rehabilitation, reflex integration, functional visual skills screening (Puzzle Art Therapy), Social Thinking curriculum, self-regulation workshops (Zones of Regulation) and the Handwriting Without Tears programs.
