In this occupational therapist led group, participants will take on the role of a “food scientist,” where they will explore and study food like a scientist using hands-on-learning! Through fun, interactive, and skill-building activities and lessons, we will guide children at their own pace to expand their food repertoire and increase comfort with mealtimes.
The curriculum draws from the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach and their Food Scientist Model.

Common questions about group sessions
What if I can’t attend/miss a session?
Group fees are collected in full at the time of registration. Missed sessions will be charged to ensure consistency and commitment to the group. All fees are non-refundable and missed sessions are processed as no-shows.
What if my child is just outside the listed age range?
Contact the facilitator of the group. They can discuss your child’s needs with you, assess whether the group’s age range skews younger or older, and help determine if it’s the right fit.
Are group sessions covered by insurance?
Groups are typically facilitated by occupational therapists and billed accordingly. We do not offer direct billing, so please contact your insurance provider to confirm your coverage.
