Ian Roth has been working as a speech-language pathologist since 2000 and has spent much of his career supporting children with Autism and social communication challenges. He co-developed ASD PlayDate, an app to help families of Autistic children arrange play dates.
Starting in September 2025, Ian will assume a one-year academic position with the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Toronto, where he will provide clinical training support for SLP students. This opportunity strengthens Red Oak’s connection with the next generation of SLPs and reflects our ongoing collaboration with the University of Toronto’s Speech-Language Pathology program. During this time, Ian will continue to see clients at Red Oak on a reduced schedule.
