ABOUT THIS GROUP

Join our Occupational Therapy (OT)-led Feeding Group, where we support young children and families in building healthy, positive mealtime experiences. Using the SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Approach to Feeding, we focus on sensory exploration, motor skills, and self-regulation, helping children improve their feeding abilities.

Through fun and interactive activities, we guide children at their own pace to expand their food repertoire and increase comfort with mealtime. Whether your child is a picky eater or facing feeding challenges, our tailored approach creates a safe, supportive environment for growth. Let’s work together to make mealtime a positive experience for everyone!

SESSION GOALS

  • To increase your child’s exposure to various novel foods and textures in a peer setting by engaging in play-based sensory exploration
  • To build and practice developmentally appropriate oral motor functioning
  • To build peaceful mealtime skills related to transitions, routines and remaining at the table
