The “Teen Talk” group focuses on essential conversation skills like starting and ending conversations, managing emotions during interactions, and adapting communication styles for different contexts—including the online world.
Teens will practice exploring tone of voice, body language, and expressing themselves while learning how to communicate confidently in both digital and face-to-face settings. With interactive games and role-playing, this program helps teens aged 14-17 boost social confidence, develop empathy, and handle diverse social situations with ease.
NOTE
Returning clients are welcome to join! The curriculum is adapted for both new participants and returning members, allowing everyone to build on their skills while exploring fresh strategies.

Common questions about group sessions
What if I can’t attend/miss a session?
Group fees are collected in full at the time of registration. Missed sessions will be charged to ensure consistency and commitment to the group. All fees are non-refundable and missed sessions are processed as no-shows.
What if my child is just outside the listed age range?
Contact the facilitator of the group. They can discuss your child’s needs with you, assess whether the group’s age range skews younger or older, and help determine if it’s the right fit.
Are group sessions covered by insurance?
Groups are typically facilitated by occupational therapists and billed accordingly. We do not offer direct billing, so please contact your insurance provider to confirm your coverage.
