Coaching Expertise
Carolyn has a MA from the University of Toronto where she researched French as a second language acquisition with an emphasis on special education. She provides in-depth academic and executive function support to students in French and English.
As a primary/junior teacher at the Toronto District School Board, she incorporates evidence-based strategies into her work with children with ADHD, autism, and other learning exceptionalities.

In 2019, Carolyn was certified in hatha yoga and incorporates mindfulness in her sessions when appropriate.

Along with her work at Red Oak, Carolyn is a teacher at the Toronto District School Board. She previously conducted research with a focus on French immersion literacy at the Multilingualism and Literacy Lab at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) in the University of Toronto.
