Social Communication Challenges

We empower individuals to embrace their uniqueness and develop effective communication skills.

At Red Oak, our speech-language pathologists (SLPs) provide support for social communication challenges. This support aims to help children and adolescents better understand the nuances of conversation and relationships and teaches them the hidden rules of successful social interaction.

Overcome challenges and lead a fulfilling life

  • Social communication refers to the way we interact with others in social situations.

Social communication involves what we say and how we say it, including facial expressions and body language, and how we recognize and interpret the verbal and non-verbal language of others.

  • We help parents who are unsure about which support would best suit their needs with our intake services.
