Social Skills Groups
A fun and interactive group for children to work together to enhance their social and self-regulation skills
Self-Regulation and Social Communication Group
We use social and self-regulation skills in every aspect of our lives. Social skills include, what we say, how we say it, our body language, and what is appropriate in different contexts. Self-Regulation is our ability to adjust and control our energy level, emotions, and attention.
Our sessions include active movement, arts and crafts, games, and role play. In this program, kids will learn to explore cognitive and sensory strategies and to develop tools to manage their self-regulation and social abilities in many different situations. This group has been developed based on the Social Thinking® curriculum and Zones of Regulation program.
