Build emotional awareness, self-regulation, and social connection
Little Campers, Big Feelings
Ages 6-7
Facilitated by Veronika Niemczyk
This is a fun and supportive week-long summer-themed group designed for children aged 6–7 to build emotional awareness, self-regulation, and social connection.
Using playful camp metaphors, stories, movement, and hands-on activities, children will learn to identify their feelings, recognize body clues, and use calming tools to manage big emotions.
Guided by principles from Social Thinking®, Zones of Regulation, and occupational therapy practices, this group encourages confidence, flexible thinking, and cooperative play, all while having fun as a team of little campers.
