Mary-Martha has over 30 years experience in education. She has worked as a teacher, an enrichment specialist, a curriculum consultant, a special education resource program coordinator, a vice principal and a remediation specialist with a focus on literacy, learning difficulties and executive functioning.

Her philosophy is that the relationship between the student and teacher is at the core of effective education. Her work prioritizes emotional well being and the development of successful strategies that enable students to become capable and thriving learners.

Her Master’s of Education (2006) focused on differentiated curriculum and inclusive teaching practice. Mary-Martha is trained in the Orton Gillingham approach to multisensory language instruction and remediation.
