Jennifer Taras
Jennifer Taras is a registered occupational therapist dedicated to helping children and adolescents build skills, confidence, and independence. She supports clients in areas such as fine and gross motor development, sensory processing, emotion regulation, executive functioning, self-regulation, and social skills.
Jennifer works with children with diverse strengths and needs, including those with Autism, learning disabilities, Down syndrome, ADHD, and developmental delays. She takes a strengths-based, family-centred, and evidence-informed approach, creating engaging and individualized sessions that help each child thrive at home, in school, and in their community.
She earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto and continues to expand her expertise through ongoing professional development. Her training includes the Zones of Regulation, Social Thinking curriculum, strengths-based approaches to autism, and the Handwriting Without Tears program.
