Nancy is an educational consultant. She works collaboratively with parents to navigate, understand and support their children’s academic and school-related needs. Nancy brings to her role of educational consultant over 30 years of experience in the field of education, holding leadership roles in public, private and parochial schools.
Nancy supports families of children ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 12. She specializes in supporting children with ASD, learning disabilities, giftedness, behavioural challenges, ADHD, family changes, adoption, and relocation.
Nancy helps parents understand their child’s learning profile and how best to support their needs both at school and at home. Nancy helps families navigate the process of developing and implementing educational plans. She coaches parents in advocating for their child’s needs and gaining access to school resources and support. Nancy helps families determine the best fit of school for their child and family. When needed, she guides parents through the process of school selection, application and admission.
Nancy earned a master’s degree specializing in communicative disorders and learning disabilities from Northwestern University in Chicago, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto, as well as Ontario Principal’s Qualifications from OISE.
