Talia is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist who works with children and adults with developmental and acquired speech and language difficulties. She has a special interest in social communication, and brings a clinical perspective from her speech and language background to help children develop the nuances of conversation, improve social interactions and develop and sustain relationships. Talia also supports the development of executive functioning in children. She creates unique treatment plans and provides strategies to help her clients develop social thinking, pragmatic language and social communication skills to meet individual goals.
Talia received her Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto. Before that, she graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honors B.A. in Psychology and Sociology. Talia has completed her LEVEL 1 PROMPT certification which is a multidimensional approach to speech production disorders.
