Elizabeth is an experienced teacher, supporting children in math and science in both classroom and one on one settings. She sees the future of education going in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) direction and is looking forward to it! Elizabeth believes in fostering a growth mindset in math. She believes that building confidence and risk taking are key to success in mathematics. She uses creative strategies and clear problem solving techniques building student engagement.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts, Economics Degree from McGill University and a Bachelors of Education from Queens University. She is qualified to teach Kindergarten to Grade 10 and has numerous additional qualifications, including Special Education, Technology Integration, Intermediate Math and Science, as well as a recent professional development in Robotics and coding.
