Speech disorder refers to a set of disorders that are characterized by reduced speech clarity resulting in speech that is hard to understand e.g., articulation disorders and phonological disorders, motor speech disorders).
Speech services for speech disorders promote the articulation of specific sounds in words and sentences, and help children with overall motor speech difficulties to improve the clarity of speech.
