Brittany So

Director of Occupational Therapy | MSc OT; OT Reg. (Ont.)

Brittany So is a registered Occupational Therapist and the director of the Red Oak occupational therapy department.  Brittany has experience working with children in the clinic, home and school setting. Brittany’s areas of clinical expertise include helping children and adolescents develop self-regulation and emotional control skills. Brittany draws from several frames of reference which include cognitive-behavioural, neurodevelopment and sensory integration.

Brittany's warmth and energy allow her to build meaningful therapeutic relationships with her clients. She uses a client- and family-centred approach and believes that parents are an integral part of the therapy process.

Brittany completed her Bachelor of Science Kinesiology and Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at McMaster University. Brittany values continuing education and professional development. Some of her additional training includes: Handwriting Without Tears, Neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), Therapeutic Listening, DIR/Floortime, Social Thinking, self-regulation and sensory integration workshops.
