March Break Language & Literacy Group

Children in our Language and Literacy group will participate in a variety of fun, hands-on activities designed to strengthen their vocabulary, phonemic awareness, story retell skills, decoding and their ability to describe and define common nouns. We teach the emergent literacy skills essential to developing strong reading, writing and language skills. This unique group is co-facilitated by a speech-language pathologist and a reading intervention expert.

Each week, participants will bring home books and/or activities allowing them opportunity to share and solidify skills taught in the group.

This series includes an initial assessment for clients not currently seeing a Red Oak practitioner for speech-language pathology or literacy support. Initial assessment will be $150 and is included in the $750 group fee. The assessment will be completed by a speech-language pathologist and a reading intervention expert.

Participants will receive an official speech-language pathology receipt that can be submitted to insurance. Please contact your benefits provider to inquire about coverage.

Please note: Payment for group is taken upfront and sessions are non-refundable. In the case of a missed session, the facilitators will provide all handouts that were missed during that session.
